Carpentry
From Grahams Wiki
I am part of the shit generation. Whereas my parents were taught lots of practical skills, I wasnt. This isnt any reflection on my parents, I distinctly remember them trying to get me interested when i was younger, I just preferred to play on the computer.
What this means is that when i actually came to try these sort of things, when i hit 30, i am not very good at it. Its probably true to say that only my interest in LARP actually prompted me to even try, but i struggle to make the sort of things my dad or my Grandad could knock off very faster and more accurate than I am at the moment. Still i try.
Here are some attempts.
- Wooden computer case
- Frankenstien type swinging bench
- Various boxes, These are good benchmarks, you can actually see the improvements as time goes on.
- Round table to go around the center pole of a tent.
- Weapons rack
- Jabobs ladder
