The 4116 is a 16k x 1 bit dynamic ram chip popular in the late 70's and early 80's
Known for its demanding power requirements, (It requires +5v, +12v and -5v, and woe betide if they arent connected in the right order), and its speed, it was never the less, very reliable when used properly.
